An unusual use for a few unwanted, or really inexpensive, pieces of pewter follows. These pieces are usually small (10-15cm) plates which were often made as souvenirs for tourists and rarely sell for more than a few pounds. Pewter can have a natural empathy with Stone. They are easily fixed if the stone is first chiselled out, the plate fixed in (sheltered to the edge) with plain silicone, and then given the protection of a matt stone sealer.
