A Rare English Provincial Chalice

Chalice – Lancashire type D1. (?) (Webb) An exceptionally rare piece to show you. It is a 17th century chalice with a large ball midway down the stem. A lovely form. The small cup resting on a large ball, standing on a nicely balanced base. A form that I find aesthetically very beautiful. The base is engraved with a small cross and is finely turned underneath.
